Patient O.L. (7 years old) had a major find in the oral cavity, which extensively influenced boys’ appearance.

In boys’ native country, the cause of the formation could not be diagnosed and the physicians were constantly convincing the family, that it is not possible to remove it.

Our little patient was target for bullies for his different appearance, which started to negatively involve his social bonds and mental health.

Therefore, boys’ parents sought our foundation and asked for help.

In our partner facility, boy underwent a series of examinations, which revealed a cyst, that could be surgically removed.

The boys’ family was accommodated in the proximity of the facility, where he was hospitalized, so they were able to visit him and support him during the surgery and convalescence.

The surgery was successful, the cyst was completely removed from his oral cavity and he was able to return home with his family.

Patient O.L. returned back after several months for a regular check, where was stated by his physician that the wound is healing well and the boy will fully recover.

His parents and older brother underwent all the procedures by his side and supported him during the whole process.

Patient O.L. could undergo the surgery thanks to the mental support of his family and financial and administrative help from Viva Vitalis foundation.
